Hi everyone, my name is Julien and I’m a French developer living in the SF Bay Area.

I have a big idea for community and I’m looking for sponsors.

First of all, I want to present you my old project: RDVExperts.com for French communities:

This project (http://www.rdvexperts.com/) is a webtv provided by a French school. The goal is to interview an expert about a technology for 30 minutes (for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KrQANtmmHNo&feature=player_embedded).

After 10 videos, we succeeded to have 35 000 views (it’s great because it was only in French).

Now I have a more exciting idea, I want to create a new webtv of 10 episodes.

This TV show is called “Are You John Doe”:

The concept is:

• I have noticed that 30 minutes is too long. This new one will only take 10 minutes or less.
• The show will be in English for more visibility.
• Since having a studio is too expensive and we are living in sunny California, the show will be filmed outside.
• I will change the concept:
  • Interview of a FAMOUS developers (in companies like Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Twitter and co).
  • I will not speak only about technologies but more about the developer’s lifestyle, his job and the technology that he is using.
  • At the end of the interview, I will ask the same question “OK, you are a famous developer but do you really deserve to be famous? Are you John Doe?” and at this moment we will have to do something crazy like bungee jumping, skydiving and so.
  • All will be filmed using a GoPro camera !

I expect more than 100 000 views. I have a BIG network and Microsoft will share our links.

I don’t need a lot of money (just the minimum need for materials, a gopro, a micro, and some stuff) for this project.

I want only ONE sponsor, I don’t want to have a lot.
